Discussion on Teaching Reform of Civil Engineering Introduction Course based on Cognitive Practice

Abstract: As a basic compulsory course of civil engineering, introduction to civil engineering includes a summary of all kinds of engineering facilities, equipment, materials and technical activities used in the process of construction and construction, which is of great significance to the student development and talent training of civil engineering. Cognitive practice is one of the necessary teaching links for civil engineering specialty. How to combine cognitive practice with the teaching of introduction to civil engineering is also a key issue to be discussed in this paper. In addition, this paper will also analyze the main characteristics of civil engineering introduction course and the existing problems in the course teaching in colleges and universities, and put forward some suggestions.
