Abstract: In the course of comprehensive practical activities in primary school, investigation and exploration is a basic way, which is in line with the goal of cultivating students by virtue, and is essential to strengthen the core quality of students. Firstly, the paper expounds the connotation of investigation and inquiry, defines the value of investigation and inquiry, and further studies the implementation strategies of investigation and inquiry, aiming to promote the improvement of pupils' critical thinking and innovative thinking ability, and effectively promote the improvement of the effectiveness of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum teaching in primary schools.
