Abstract: Cultivating innovative spirit and practical ability has become the theme of today's education. Under the background of “Double First Class”, this paper studies and analyzes the construction of maker space in colleges and universities, deeply analyzes the problems of cultivating college students' innovative consciousness, summarizes the problems of personalized teaching, and finds out appropriate methods to solve the problems. According to the analysis of personalized theory, this paper puts forward the implementation of subjective education, teaching diversification and creating a personalized teaching environment to improve the teaching efficiency of personalized teaching in the maker space of colleges and universities. As a new field of China's education, maker space construction has broad development prospects, can provide a better platform and environment for college students, so as to further improve students' innovative consciousness and cultivate innovative thinking.
