Exploration and Practice of Talent Training for Large-Scale Water Conservancy Innovation based on Grand Engineering View——A Case Study of the Reform of Personnel Training for Water Conservancy Majors in Sichuan University

Abstract

Abstract: In the new era, the water conservancy industry has significant characteristics of multi-field, interdisciplinary and large-scale engineering. The traditional training mode of specialty subdivision and profound knowledge for small majors cannot fully meet the needs of modern water conservancy talents, especially in comprehensive universities. Sichuan university around water conservancy water conservancy engineering discipline front, based on the concept of big project, follow the general education and the new engineering concept, to carry out the comprehensive reform of water conservancy engineering, strengthening general education, thick foundation, cultivate multi-disciplinary cross, explore and establish a large water conservancy innovative talent training system, to adapt to the water conservancy power demand for innovative talents.
