Studies on Forest Protection Curriculum Based on OBE Educational Concept

Abstract: Along with the deepening reform of higher education, the former teaching mode can hardly meet the requirements of the new era of university teaching. Therefore, college educators should try to apply more novel teaching models to cultivate more outstanding talents. Based on the learning of OBE education concept, combining with the teaching activity of forest entomology in forest protection curriculum of Shenyang Agricultural University, the teaching scheme was reformed and optimized. Learning objectives, content framework, implementation methods and learning evaluation of the course were redesigned. The remolded program embodies the teaching philosophy of output-oriented, student-centered and continuous improvement. It is target-driven and student-centered, and evaluates the learning effect of the course through scientific evaluation methods to continuously improve the teaching quality.
