Abstract: Complex function is a important basic course for engineering majors, which is the foundation for other courses of behind itself. The goal of the course ideological and political teaching is to impart the course knowledge to students while establishing the correct values. Based on the characteristics of engineering complex function and teaching contents and cultural deposits ,this paper gives some cases of ideological and political education. Through these cases, the ideological and political education can be implemented throughout the whole process of education and teaching aiming at to achieve the harmonious unity of teaching and educating in the teaching process.
