Abstract: Practice teaching plays an important role in geology. In order to clarify the establishment method of "fool type" geological teaching profile, this paper discusses the selection standard, construction method, application and significance of "fool type" geological teaching profile based on the experience of Xi'an Petroleum University, Northwest University and Sinopec Northwest Oilfield Company in jointly building field practice base, combined with the feedback information from students, employers and instructors. In order to promote the efficiency of practical learning.
