Abstract: Aesthetic education is an important way to realize the all-round development of students. If aesthetic education is ignored for a long time, it is difficult to achieve the real purpose of education. This paper uses data collection, case analysis, literature reference and other research methods, combined with the learning experience of domestic first-class engineering colleges, analyzes and compares the current situation of aesthetic education in the world and domestic first-class universities. Its innovation lies in the combination of theoretical materials and their own experience, exploring problems from the fundamental system, with strong pertinence, and striving to explore a new idea of university aesthetic education with Chinese characteristics.
