On the Teaching Mode of Evolutionary Biology Aiming at Cultivating Scientific Literacy

Abstract: The cultivation of Undergraduates' scientific literacy is the basis of cultivating high-quality talents and innovative talents, and it is also a challenging and urgent task of higher education in the new era. Evolutionary biology is a leading discipline in biology, which plays an important role in the cultivation of College Students' scientific literacy. Based on the analysis of the current situation and problems of the cultivation of College Students' scientific literacy, this paper makes a preliminary discussion on the teaching mode of "Evolutionary biology" in order to provide reference for the teaching promotion of "Evolutionary biology" and the cultivation paradigm of scientific literacy of college students.
