Exploration and Practice of Progressive Modular Design of Public Basic Courses in Higher Vocational Colleges——Take Calculus as An Example

Abstract: In view of the uneven characteristics of the freshmen's cultural quality in the higher vocational colleges, and combining the basic requirements of the follow-up specialized courses to the public basic courses, the progressive modular design idea of the reform of the public basic courses is put forward in this paper。And the "calculus" course teaching system and teaching content of the specific design, abstracts the basic articles, intermediate and advanced articles, the content of each part of the arrangement fully consider students' cognitive level, the difficulty of teaching contents are scattered, not the pursuit of the complex content all at once clear, but follow from special to know the general rule, gradually approaching。Each module insists on starting from zero, step by step. Many years of teaching practice has proved that this design can improve the current situation of the teaching of public basic courses in Higher Vocational colleges.
