An Exploration of Off-Campus Practice Teaching Mode for Energy and Power Engineering Major

Abstract: Personnel training concepts and teaching mode during off-campus practice teaching for energy and power engineering major were discussed based on OBE teaching philosophy. This paper gives a detailed description on the construction of teaching soft platform, construction of practice base and organization of practical teaching. Standard and fair quantitative assessment criteria and goal-oriented closed-loop feedback mechanism were designed around “Intended Learning Outcomes”. Some practice bases with wide range of specialities and close combination of industry-university-research were constructed. Various practical teaching sections were planned. The solutions were explored to solve some problems, such as the poor environment of traditional enterprises and the old teaching mode.
