An Analysis of the Employability of the Joint Training of Talents in Fujian and Taiwan Universities——Taking Minjiang University as an Example

Abstract: Taking Minjiang university as an example, this paper analyzes employability of graduates from joint cultivation program by investigating the employment situation of graduates from joint cultivation program and non-joint cultivation program. The investigation found that the number of graduates from joint cultivation program who chose to work for state-owned enterprises and government offices was significantly higher than that of graduates from non-joint cultivation program. Moreover, graduates from joint cultivation program are more enthusiastic about starting a business. Additionally, from the perspective of salary treatment and development potential, the graduates of joint cultivation program also have some advantages. However, the investigation also found some shortcomings of joint cultivation program and put forward some suggestions for improvement.
