Abstract: The development of everything has two sides, and the Internet is no exception. The development of the Internet has brought challenges and opportunities to the ideological and political education in colleges and universities. College students have strong curiosity, lack of social experience, and are easily affected by bad online information and diversification of social life. However, the development of the Internet also provides a lot of convenience for college ideological and political educators in terms of information resource acquisition, information dissemination channels, and teacher-student communication methods. The ideological and political education of college students can not only rely on the power of one party, but also needs the joint efforts of the government, colleges and universities, and families to jointly educate and promote.
