Abstract: Objectivestructured clinical examination (OSCE)with standardized patients(SP) is a kind of objective evaluation system of clinical skills. Through the establishment of standardized OSCE examination station and the training of qualified SP, the clinical skills of medical students can be evaluated objectively, justly, effectively and pertinently. At present, due to the influence of teaching methods and language differences, MBBS overseas students learning initiative is low, clinical thinking and practice ability is not strong, medical behavior ability is not standardized, and professional quality is relatively low. Therefore, this study will introduce the OSCE teaching mode based on SP into the clinical teaching of MBBS, mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of MBBS overseas students through situational teaching, enhance their clinical practice ability, cultivate their correct clinical thinking, standardize their medical behavior, and improve their professional quality. SP combined with OSCE teaching mode provides a new idea and direction for clinical teaching reform of MBBS overseas students.
