On English Vocabulary Teaching in Secondary Vocational School

Abstract: Vocabulary is the most important part of Vocational English teaching. Vocabulary is the foundation of English learning and the most important part. Vocabulary teaching is conducive to the secondary vocational school students to effectively master vocabulary, improve the level of vocabulary application. If secondary vocational school students can master vocabulary better, it will be of great help to improve their English level in the future. In vocabulary teaching, we often apply the theory of meaning learning. On the basis of applying this theory, we put forward some effective methods and simple curriculum design for vocabulary learning in Secondary Vocational English classroom, in order to give some enlightenment to vocabulary teaching in Secondary Vocational English classroom.
