Abstract: In this study, the questionnaire method was used to investigate the occupational survival status of preschool teachers in central Henan. The study found that the preschool teachers in the region have poor wages and benefits, heavy work pressure, large urban-rural differences in working environment, and poor professional development, and then the study proposes some strategies. The government should speed up the legislative process to protect the legitimate rights and interests of preschool teachers; lead the public opinion and form a social atmosphere that respects teachers and teaches; kindergartens should strengthen democratic management, pay attention to humanistic care, meet their spiritual and material needs , and provide adequate opportunities and conditions in professional development for preschool teachers.
