Exploration on the Professional Development Path of Young Teachers in Private Colleges in the Background of New Engineering

Abstract: Under the background of construction of new engineering disciplines, taking Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai as an example, the current situation of young teachers in private colleges is analyzed and the path for professional development is explored. It proposes professional development paths from participating in education and teaching course discussions, immerse class learning, entering the enterprise, innovative teaching models, researching cutting-edge technologies, and continuing education. With the limited resources of private colleges, it provides a reference for how to train young teachers to meet the construction of new engineering.
