Abstract: Higher vocational college is a unique form of higher education in China, and also an important place for application-oriented talents output. Since the reform of higher education, the development of vocational colleges in China is very rapid, which has achieved great achievements in quantity and quality, and has provided many excellent talents for the socialist construction in China. In the new era of socialist development, the society puts forward new requirements for applied talents, which requires not only professional technical ability, but also lofty morality and professional accomplishment, so as to assume the responsibility for social construction and development. Therefore, in the ideological and political education of Higher Vocational Colleges in the new era,It is necessary and an important task to set up the teaching concept of moral education. Through the analysis of the problems in the ideological and political education of higher vocational colleges, this paper puts forward the relevant strategies of cultivating the idea of neutral morality and cultivating people in the ideological and political teaching, which can be used for reference by the relevant educators.
