Abstract: There are many subjects involved in environmental design, which has the characteristics of interdisciplinary, infiltration and integration, and has strong practicality. Therefore, the environmental design specialty itself has higher requirements for teaching objectives, and the social demand for talents is increasing, so it is urgent to promote the teaching reform and innovation of the major. Reform and innovation should be committed to the cultivation of professional talents, do a good job in teaching research. According to the current teaching situation of Wuhan Huaxia University of Technology and the development of "Jing-chu Outstanding Art Talents" project, focusing on the advantages and disadvantages of the existing talent training program of environmental design, this paper focuses on the importance of promoting the teaching reform of environmental design, and analyzes the feasibility of the training mode of "Excellent Talents".
