Abstract: Curriculum construction is the foundation of higher education, which directly determines the quality of higher talents. Innovation and practice ability is a core ability that contemporary talents should have, and it runs through the whole process of talent training. It has become a hot spot in the current education reform of colleges and universities that curriculum construction should highlight the leading position of innovative practical ability. Based on the characteristics of oil and gas majors, in close combination with the specific reality of curriculum construction, fully considering the problems existing in the education reform and development of this major, drawing on the successful experience of education reform in developed countries, this paper focuses on the analysis and research of the measures for curriculum construction reform in turn, and puts the focus of curriculum construction into the cultivation of students' innovation and practical ability, with a view to serving me The course construction of petroleum and natural gas specialty in Colleges and universities of China provides reference and reference, which lays a solid foundation for personnel training.
