Abstract: The essence of "ideological and political theories teaching" in professional courses is to integrate ideological and political education into all aspects of professional curriculum teaching, so as to achieve the fundamental goal of cultivating morality and cultivating people. Taking the course of remote sensing technology and application in Higher Vocational Colleges as an example, this paper first discusses the necessity of Integrating Ideological and political education into the course, and then excavates the main ideological and political elements of the course from two aspects of theoretical teaching and practical teaching. Finally, it expounds the implementation path from three aspects of teaching objectives, teaching content and teaching implementation, and takes two knowledge points as examples Teaching practice. Good results have been achieved through the research, which provides a scientific basis for the promotion and implementation of ideological and political theories teaching in other courses of surveying and mapping geographic information specialty in the next step.
