Exploration on the Problems and Paths of the Development-oriented Financial Assistance and Education in Colleges and Universities

Abstract

Abstract: The development-oriented financial assistance and education in colleges and universities aims to protect the right to learn of students and avoid students' dropout due to family economic difficulties, improve the comprehensive quality of students and cultivate qualified socialist builders and successors. At present, there are some problems in the development-oriented financial assistance and education in colleges and universities, such as difficulties to make full use of it because of relatively limited number of financial assistance; the implementation process of the financial assistance policy which has deviations is not in place and the unsatisfied effects of education due to emphasis on material assistance and neglecting quality cultivation. This paper explores the path of development-oriented education in Colleges and universities from three aspects: excavating the resources of enterprises and alumni, exploring the source channels of grants, strictly controlling the implementation process of policies, ensuring the accurate implementation of subsidy policies, and building a diversified education platform to promote the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality.
