Abstract: The advancement of smart education has continuously driven innovations in the teaching models for English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses. Constructing a multimodal resource system tailored to disciplinary needs has become key measure to enhancing course teaching quality. This paper elaborates on the pathways for building a multimodal resource system for ESP courses, focusing on three aspects: screening and integrating resources via smart platforms, creating original content based on disciplinary cases, and dynamically optimizing resources using teaching data and feedback.
