Abstract: As China's railway industry enters a new phase of rapid development, the cultivation of railway dispatching personnel faces new challenges. Traditional teaching models are plagued by difficulties in concretizing abstract concepts, and a disconnect between theory and practice. This results in prolonged adaptation periods for graduates entering the workforce, failing to meet the industry's urgent demand for highly skilled, application-oriented professionals. In response, this paper proposes a tripartite teaching reform model integrating“theoretical foundation, practice empowerment, and simulation enhancement”. This model utilizes Taiyuan North Station as a practical platform, incorporating frontline dispatch experience. Leveraging OpenTrack simulation technology, it constructs a railway hub dispatch model to achieve dynamic simulation, optimization validation, and risk pre-assessment of dispatch plans. Ultimately, it forms a closed-loop teaching system encompassing“theoretical learning, experience transfer, simulation training, and competency development”. Teaching practices demonstrate that this model significantly deepens students'systematic understanding of dispatch knowledge, effectively enhances their practical operational skills, emergency response capabilities, and innovative thinking, providing a scientific and operable new pathway for cultivating talent in railway transportation-related disciplines.
