Abstract: Starting from the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), this article explores the path of using AI technology to achieve integrated education of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the new era. The relevant government departments should fill the policy gap of AI empowering integrated education of traditional Chinese and western medicine as soon as possible, and upgrade the hardware infrastructure of AI. Chinese medicine colleges and universities should optimize their curriculum and teaching models, build an AI empowered interdisciplinary integrated curriculum system of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, attach importance to inter school and school enterprise cooperation, and build integrated teaching teams proficient in traditional Chinese and Western medicine professional knowledge and artificial intelligence. In addition, AI should be combined with other technologies to accelerate the integration of traditional Chinese and western medicine. This article provides new ideas for the reform of medical education in the context of the new era, and also serves as a reference for cultivating innovative medical talents.
