Abstract: In the field of power professional education in higher vocational colleges, there are sorne problems in the traditional teaching model. For example, practical teaching is difficult to carry out fully due to equipment safety risks and site limitations. Aiming at these problems, this paper carries out an in-depth study on the VR+AR digital education platform. By systematically analyzing the theoretical foundations such as constructivism, situational cognition and embodied cognition, the paper elaborates on the platform's architectural design, functional module construction and technical implementation path. At the same time, a learning effect evaluation model including knowledge tests, skill practical operations, learning behavior analysis and other dimensions is constructed. Empirical studies show that the platform effectively breaks through the bottlenecks of traditional teaching, significantly improves students'practical operation ability and professional knowledge mastery, and provides an implementable innovative solution and practical example for the teaching reform of power majors in higher vocational colleges.
