Abstract: Currently, rural handicrafts in Shaanxi carry regional cultural characteristics and traditional skill values, and are important local resources in the teaching of design majors. However, these resources are mostly scattered in different rural areas and exist in traditional physical or oral forms of inheritance, making it difficult to efficiently integrate into the teaching process of design majors in universities. Based on this, this article deeply analyzes the practical significance of building a digital resource library for design majors in universities, and proposes a series of practical strategies to promote their construction, in order to provide practical references for the implementation of such construction efforts.
