Abstract: The series of courses on numerical simulation of flow heat transfer is of great significance for cultivating independent industrial software talents. In response to the problems of theoretical abstraction and practical disconnection in this type of course, a Python based interactive teaching practice for computational fluid dynamics between teachers and students has been carried out. By constructing a highly coupled CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) source code library and teaching courseware set, the basic theory of CFD and programming practice are organically integrated. The closed-loop teaching method of “pre class thinking and exploration, in class teaching and practical training, and post class practice consolidation”is adopted to improve students'process participation and the transparency of CFD programs, and to strengthen students'ability to read and write numerical simulation programs for flow heat transfer problems.
