Abstract: Implementing colloge students career planning is the core responsibility of vocational undergraduate colleges, and the counselor's office bears the core responsibility of helping college students complete their career planning. The article adopts theoretical analysis and case study methods, from the perspective of the construction of the counselor's office in vocational undergraduate colleges, theoretically analyzes the core functions of the counselor's office, analyzes the importance of career planning for students' future development, and sorts out the problems of the counselor's office in formulating career planning for students. It is committed to solving the problems of the weakening of organizational construction, insufficient innovation capabilities, and the lack of guarantee resources in the counselor's office. From the aspects of strategic planning, technological optimization, and resource acquisition, it proposes optimization countermeasures to provide a guarantee for the career planning of vocational undergraduate college students.
