Abstract: The effectiveness evaluation of the practical training support system in the hydrology and water resources engineering major is a crucial step in ensuring the quality of students'practical abilities and professional competence. This paper, based on the characteristics of the hydrology and water resources engineering major, constructs an index system for the practical training system. The evaluation assigns values to the indicators using expert scoring and the Analytic Hierarchy process (AHP), and applies the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation (FCE) method to assess the practical training system of a university’s Hydrology and water resources engineering program. The research results show that the constructed effectiveness evaluation support system can accurately reflect the effectiveness of practical training. The FCE method helps analyze the impact of various factors on the support system and identify the key factors influencing the system's effectiveness.
