Exploration of the “Five Year Integrated System” Higher Vocational Education Connection and Training Model—Taking the Major of Drug Management and Administration as an Example

Abstract: In the context of diversified enrollment, the“five-year integrated system”vocational education covers two stages: secondary vocational education and higher vocational education. However, many problems have been exposed in the connection between the two stages, which have become bottlenecks affecting the development of vocational education. This article combines the current situation of Chongqing Energy Vocational College, literature materials, questionnaire surveys, and the author's years of practical experience in vocational education. Taking the training objectives, curriculum design and standards, teacher team construction, and teaching methods as the research entry points, it explores the problems and reasons for the connection of vocational education in the“five-year integrated system”, proposes rectification strategies, optimizes teaching resources, achieves seamless connection between vocational and higher vocational education, improves the quality of students transported from vocational education to vocational education in the“five-year integrated system”, and enables students to gain market recognition after graduation.
