Exploration and Practices of Cultivating Innovative Ability for Talents in Local Colleges and Universities in the Context of New-Quality Productive Forces

Abstract: Innovation is the core element of new quality productive forces, and cultivating students'innovative ability is of paramount importance in higher education. At present, there are still challenges in cultivating of talent innovation ability in local colleges and universities, such as: weak innovation motivation of students, insufficient participation of professional teachers in innovation guidance, and incomplete curriculum system for innovation cultivation,etc. Explore measures to construct a talent innovation ability training system suitable for the actual conditions of local colleges and universities, such as inspiring intrinsic motivation through ideological and political education in courses, ensuring long-term quality of innovation guidance through teaching systems, cultivating innovative thinking through integrating disciplines, strengthening innovation training effect through combining courses with competitions, and stimulating learning interest through information-based teaching methods. The talent innovation ability training system will cultivate qualified talents for local economic and social development and industrial upgrading and transformation.
