Abstract: In order to cultivate interdisciplinary talents in biomedical engineering for the new era, Nanjing Medical University has developed a“health-oriented”curriculum system tailored to the specific needs of biomedical engineering students in medical universities. Leveraging the university’s distinctive features and advantages, the system integrates blended learning, the“three-stage”experimental design, and an OBE(Outcomes-Based Education) evaluation framework. This approach optimizes course content and teaching methods, significantly enhancing students’awareness of the integration of medicine, engineering, and science as well as their overall competencies. The reform provides a valuable reference and model for talent training in biomedical engineering and other interdisciplinary fields, while actively contributing to the implementation of the“Healthy China”strategy and the broader societal development.
