Research on the Construction of Discipline Competition Management Platform in Colleges and Universities and its Application in the Reporting of Basic Teaching Status Data—Taking Competition Data Collection as an Example

Abstract: The collection of basic teaching status data in universities is an important way and means for the Ministry of Education to monitor the status and teaching quality of undergraduate universities. It is also an important method for the internal teaching quality construction and improvement of undergraduate universities. Starting from the collection and reporting of competition related data, this article analyzes the current problems and difficulties in data reporting. Based on the principle of problem oriented and years of experience in data reporting and platform usage, a reasonable plan for the construction of discipline competitions and data output requirements are proposed. A detailed analysis was conducted on the overall role of the discipline competition management platform construction in basic state data collection, providing reference for various universities.
