Reform of the Education Model with Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ability as the Core under the Background of Transformation

Abstract: Through exploring the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship abilities as the core of the education model, we have carried out beneficial reforms and explorations of the traditional education model of Hunan University of Arts and Sciences. We have effectively integrated the concept and methods of innovation and entrepreneurship education into the undergraduate education model, analyzed the four elements of innovation and entrepreneurship education, including curriculum system, practical mode, innovation and entrepreneurship faculty, quality evaluation, established a teaching management mechanism and quality evaluation method for innovation and entrepreneurship practice, and constructed a teaching model of“theory+practice+auxiliary activities”and a talent cultivation model of“four layers progressive”. These reform measures can provide useful references for the reform of education models in local universities.
