Abstract: Vocational undergraduate education aims to cultivate high-level technical and skilled talents, aiming to achieve a high degree of integration of knowledge and literacy, as well as the high-tech skills required for career adaptation. The new model of“on-the-job course training, competition and innovation”is a derivative of the“on-the-job course training, competition and certification”education model, which focuses on strengthening the high-level and high-tech skills needs of vocational undergraduate education and follows the basic laws of student growth and development. The implementation of this educational model mainly revolves around the approach of designing high-level courses and practicing high skills. The construction of the“on-the-job course training, competition and innovation”education model combines knowledge and professionalism, and is a stable and effective model formed by vocational colleges on the basis of practice. It can provide theoretical model and practical path for promoting the transformation and innovation of the long-term vocational talent education model.
