Reform and Exploration of Plant Physiology Course Teaching under the Background of New Agricultural Science

Abstract: With the continuous promotion of the construction of new agricultural science, traditional teaching models are unable to meet the needs of cultivating composite talents. A large number of supporting basic courses urgently need to be reformed and innovated. It is necessary to deepen teaching reform, optimize the system, strengthen practice, improve course quality, and cultivate innovative talents that meet the requirements of agricultural modernization. Plant physiology, as an important foundational course for plant production in higher agricultural and forestry colleges in China, has a complex content system and arduous reform tasks. This article focuses on the demand for innovative agricultural talent cultivation under the background of the new agricultural science, explores the practical path of optimizing the curriculum system and innovating teaching methods, and aims to provide reference for the construction of the new agricultural science system and other basic curriculum reforms in universities.
