Abstract: In order to meet the training needs of new engineering departments for innovative talents in electronic information engineering, as well as the problems existing in the current practical teaching system , such as weak engineering, outdated content, poor systematization, and so on. This paper puts forward the method to carry out electronic information practical teaching through the “doing middle school” project which runs through the four-year undergraduate. With the goal of engineering demand and innovative talent training, the “learning by doing” project is integrated with different practical teaching links to optimize the teaching content and run through the whole life cycle of the product. Optimize the knowledge structure of the teacher engineering through enterprise participation. Methods such as student-oriented, open-teaching and whole-process assessment are adopted to improve the quality of practical teaching and cultivate students' comprehensive practical ability and innovative thinking.
