Abstract: Big data and AI are reshaping medical insurance, but traditional curricula focus on theory and lack integration of advanced technologies, impeding the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents. This paper presents a teaching framework for medical insurance courses that integrates big data and AI, covering four core modules: basic theories, technical methods, application practices, and comprehensive expansion. By combining lecture-based, case-based, project-driven, and blended learning approaches, the framework enhances students' data analysis and interdisciplinary practical skills. This framework effectively addresses the overemphasis on theory in traditional curricula, promotes the integration of IT with medical insurance, supports curriculum reform, and aids the digital transformation of the healthcare industry.
