Abstract: Under the background of quality education, innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in universities has become the key to improve the comprehensive quality of talents. Firstly, the concepts of quality education and innovation and entrepreneurship education are defined separately, followed by a brief account of their development history. Then, the interrelation between the two and their significance within the current education system are analyzed. Subsequently, the paper summarizes the current situation of innovation and entrepreneurship in universities, and points out the problems in education concept, curriculum system, practice platform and teacher strength. To solve these problems, the paper puts forward a series of reform measures, including updating the educational concept, improving the curriculum system, strengthening the construction of practice platforms, and reinforcing the construction of teachers. These reform initiatives aim to build a new educational ecology to adapt to the rapidly changing social needs and develop well-rounded talents who possess both a spirit of innovation and hands-on capabilities.
