Abstract: Textbooks are the cornerstone of education, and their construction and innovation will inevitably lead to changes in teachers'teaching methods and curriculum models. This article takes the chemistry experiment course in higher vocational education as the starting point, and deeply analyzes the compilation characteristics, textbook module design, operation short video design, and impact on the teaching mode of chemistry courses in the relevant loose leaf textbooks. It lists innovative application cases of this textbook in the curriculum and explores how textbook reform can reshape the teaching role of teachers and the learning role of students. Finally, the limitations of using and publishing loose leaf textbooks in the current educational environment were analyzed, and possible development directions for loose leaf textbooks were proposed, providing reference for the development and application of loose leaf textbooks.
