Construction and Exploration of the Undergraduate Practical Teaching System for Biomedical Engineering in the Context of Innovation-Driven

Abstract: With the introduction of the concepts of new engineering and new medicine, the implementation of “excellence engineer education program” and the “excellence doctor education program”, and the promotion of the concept of new productivity, the education system for the biomedical engineering is facing new challenges. This paper explores the current state of the undergraduate practical teaching system, and proposes improvement strategies in an innovation-driven context. The paper summarizes shortcomings of the current teaching system and proposes improvement strategies, including interdisciplinary resource sharing, strengthening university-industry collaboration, fostering international perspectives and innovation capabilities, enhancing independent research skills, and establishing a diversified evaluation system.
