Abstract: The cultivation of international talents in tourism is a key link in supporting the achievement of the strategic goals of Hainan free trade port. Whether it is possible to effectively cultivate composite talents who are familiar with international tourism rules and practices, and can deeply integrate into the development of local characteristic industries, is directly related to the improvement of the international tourism service level of the free trade port, the construction of global competitiveness, and the sustainability of high-quality regional economic development. This article explores the systematic training path of international tourism talents under the background of the construction of Hainan free trade port, focusing on the collaborative reform of four core dimensions: restructuring of training objectives, optimization of curriculum system, improvement of teacher capacity, and strengthening of practical teaching. It provides reference ideas for Hainan to transport a professional tourism talent team that can serve the global market and support industrial upgrading.
