Abstract: With the rapid advancement of new media technology and the profound transformation of the film and television industry, the traditional model for cultivating film and television art talents in universities is facing significant challenges. This article set against the backdrop of the new media era, highlights the importance of nurturing versatile talents who possess artistic literacy, technical skills, industry insight, and humanistic spirit. This is essential for adapting to technological integration, responding to industrial changes, driving educational innovation, and empowering cultural dissemination. Addressing key issues such as outdated course iterations, disconnected practical resources, one-dimensional faculty capabilities, and superficial industry-education collaboration, the article proposes targeted strategies, including building an integrated curriculum system, creating a platform that combines virtual and real elements, forming a cross-disciplinary faculty team, and improving collaborative talent development mechanisms. These strategies aim to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for the transformation and upgrading of film and television art education in universities.
