Abstract: At present, the shipbuilding and marine engineering industry is undergoing profound changes, and there is a prominent contradiction between the urgent demand for composite, innovative, and practical shipbuilding and marine engineering technology talents and the long axis talent training cycle. To this end, the Ocean University of China CIMC Raffles Group Marine Engineering Practice and Training Base has taken three measures through school enterprise cooperation to build a“dual teacher and dual capability”teaching team, enhance practical teaching service capabilities through the combination of virtual and real, and complement software and hardware, and explore“dual education integration”internship (training) courses. It has constructed a“deep integration of industry, education, and science”and a“dual education between school and enterprise”internship and training model that adapts to regional industrial development, achieving an organic connection between the education chain, talent chain, industry chain, and innovation chain, and solving the contradiction between the urgent demand for industrial talents in the marine industry and the long axis talent training cycle.
