Abstract: In recent years, the development of the Internet and information technology has put forward new requirements for the teaching mode of local application-oriented undergraduate colleges. Traditional teaching methods are difficult to meet the needs of students for knowledge acquisition and skills teaching. In view of this, this article explores a hybrid theoretical teaching model of “online and offline dual drive” to address the problems of single teaching methods, poor teaching effectiveness, and disconnection between theory and practical application in the current geographic information system principles course. A three-stage course evaluation standard of “preview learning feedback” is constructed to supervise teaching activities throughout the process and help students achieve optimal course learning outcomes.
