Driven by Subject Competitions, Enhance Students' Innovation Ability

Abstract: Innovation is the driving force of technological progress, and cultivating students'innovation ability is one of the key tasks of higher education. Subject competitions can promote teaching reform, facilitate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and are an important way to cultivate students'innovative abilities. Participating in subject competitions can enhance students'innovation ability, cultivate team spirit, exercise psychological qualities, and showcase educational achievements. This article analyzes the problems that exist in the process of students participating in subject competitions under the current situation, and proposes strategies such as establishing a sound incentive mechanism, constructing a school enterprise cooperation practice platform, enhancing the strength of the guidance teacher team, improving students'teamwork ability, and strengthening process management.
