Application of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Foreign Language Teaching: A Case Study of the Charm of China

Abstract: This paper explores the application of Generative AI (GAI) in foreign language teaching in universities. Through teaching cases, it analyzes how GAI provides resources and personalized learning assistance, nurtures students’thinking skills and language proficiency while enhancing learners’interactive language experiences. While discussing its application value, the paper also raises potential issues and corresponding solutions. The application of GAI in language education brings efficient language learning experiences and teaching methods for both students and teachers, offering perspectives on facilitating the integration and application of educational technology.
