Research on the Mechanism and Effectiveness of Improving the Engineering Practice Ability of Teachers in Environmental Majors in Local Colleges and Universities

Abstract: China's higher education is actively promoting applied transformation and the construction of new engineering disciplines, which has put forward higher requirements for the engineering practice ability of university teachers, especially engineering teachers. As a typical interdisciplinary and practical discipline, the engineering practice ability of environmental science and engineering teachers directly affects the quality of talent cultivation and the ability to serve local development. This article explores the mechanism and effectiveness of improving the engineering practice ability of teachers in environmental majors in local universities, and to analyzes it with Mianyang Teachers'College as an example, in order to provide reference for similar universities.
