Abstract: In the era of Internet, blended teaching model has attracted widespread attention and been practiced. However, public basic courses in higher vocational education face issues such as unclear course positioning, disconnection between teaching content and occupational demands, lack of innovation in learning methods and focus on the formal cultivation of core literacy. Taking higher vocational mathematics courses as an example, we construct a teaching model aimed at cultivating students'core literacy based on the theory and practice of online and offline blended learning, and through teaching research to verify its effectiveness in improving learning motivation, learning efficiency and core quality.
